Here at DiGrazia Family Dentistry, we truly believe in supporting those who have fought for our country. This is why we are a part of the Adopt a Vet Dental Program. Just in the Reno area alone, thousands of low-income veterans suffer every day from extreme oral decay. They endure years of severe pain from abscesses, multiple deteriorated teeth and more, and we want to help with that.
The Adopt a Vet Dental Program (AAVD) identifies and qualifies each case, then seeks appropriate dental care for the qualified veteran. All dental services are provided pro bono to qualifying veterans. This is only possible because of the extensive services donated by volunteer dentists. And the labs who help subsidize or completely cover the lab expenses associated with each veteran’s treatment.
Last week, we were able to help one local veteran, Tom Scott.
Tom Scott served in the Army for 5 years from 1969-1974. We’re so thankful for his service, so its our turn to give back!
We asked Scott what he loves about Dr. DiGrazia’s office and he said, “Everything. They make me feel comfortable. They have a good crew and Doctor is an animal!” (We love how much of a jokester Scott is).
